Tray 2.2 Series는 스틸이라는 익숙한 소재를 어떻게 다르게 경험할 수 있을지에 대한 질문에서 시작되었습니다. 나뭇잎을 단순화한 형태는 소재보다 형태를 먼저 인식하도록 유도하며, 완만하게 기울어진 표면은 물건을 자연스럽게 중심으로 모읍니다. 플로팅 구조는 금속 특유의 묵직한 인상을 덜어내며 보다 가볍고 부드러운 존재감을 만들어냅니다. 이 작업은 소재를 바꾸지 않고도 형태의 변화만으로 인식은 달라질 수 있다는 가능성을 제안하며, 소재와 형태, 그리고 일상 사이의 관계를 새롭게 해석합니다.

Tray 2.2 Series began with the idea of exploring how a familiar material like steel could be perceived differently through form. Its simplified leaf-inspired silhouette encourages the eye to recognize the form before the material, softening the familiar impression of steel. The gently sloping surface naturally guides objects toward the center, while the floating structure reduces the visual weight of the metal, giving the tray a lighter and softer presence. Rather than changing the material itself, the project suggests that subtle changes in form can transform the way we perceive familiar materials, reinterpreting the relationship between material, form, and everyday life.
